Continuity is crucial for a privately run museum like the AAMU, which is why the museum considers cultural entrepreneurship essential. Companies and organisations that support the museum’s vision can make an active contribution towards the work of the museum. The museum organises two to three exhibition programmes each year. The AAMU receives on average 23,000 visitors a year.
So far the museum has received projectfunding from the following sponsors and funds: SNS Reaal Fonds, VSB Fonds, KF Hein Fonds, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds (Pacific Fund and Buziau Geesink Fund), Elise Mathilde Fonds, Stichting Dioraphte, Rio Tinto, the Paddy Bedford Foundation, Australia Council for the Arts, the City of Utrecht, QIAMEA, William Mora Galleries. Recently the AAMU and Rabobank Utrecht prolonged their sponsorship deal for a long-term cooperation.
The museum is actively looking for Corporate Friends, who also see advantages for their own activities in a long-term cooperation with the museum. In its approach to this sponsorship, the museum endeavours to achieve an optimal mix for participants as well as for the museum. Exclusive opportunities for cooperation are possible, and sector exclusivity is guaranteed.
If you have any questions or ideas, please contact the director of the museum, Mr Mike Anderson on 31 30 2380100 or via firstname.lastname@example.org.
