AAMU

Primary school programme

The AAMU puts together a special programme for each exhibition for schoolchildren ages 6 through 12. Interaction with pupils is the focus of this programme. By watching carefully and by articulating what they see, pupils will gain insights into the extraordinary art and culture of the Aborigines. The museum visit starts with an introductory talk about the country of Australia and the Aboriginal culture. An experienced guide then takes the class on a tour of the exhibition. The programme ends with a creative assignment.

The price of admission is € 3,50 per pupil and € 5 for adults. A maximum of 30 pupils is permitted per museum visit. We recommend that every 10 pupils are accompanied by one teacher or supervisor..

Duration: 1 hour
Number of participants:    maximum of 30
