14 & 15 April: National Museumweekend at the AAMU
Come to the AAMU during the 31st annual National Museumweekend! There are plenty of fun, creative and interesting activities for everyone! Follow one of the enthusiastic guided tours through Heart and Soul, our current exhibition about Colin and Elizabeth Laverty's renowned art collection. Or learn how to play the didgeridoo during one of the introductory workshops. Children can have their face painted as an Australian animal and join the special sand drawing workshop.
The programme for Saturday and Sunday is as follows:
12.00 Heart and Soul guided tour
1.00pm didgeridoo workshop
2.00pm Heart and Soul guided tour
3.00pm didgeridoo workshop
4.00pm Heart and Soul guided tour
For children from 4 - 12 years old:
12.00 - 3.00pm: have your face painted as an Australian animal
12.00 - 3.00pm: make your own beautiful sand drawing
The only admission that participating museums will ask this year is a symbolic amount of 1 euro. The AAMU would like to use this weekend's admission to make the city of Utrecht ánd itself more beautiful by improving the museum façade.
